I think it's ironic that IBM wants use
to use server-neutral programming languages, making it easy for us to
eliminate the i (which is what I *want* to use, and is what I'm paying
IBM for!) -- but requires a particular platform (Windows) for the client
-- something that I don't want to use, and never asked IBM for.

Not to mention the HMC I use to control partitions on my iSeries (or
whatever they call it this week) is a linux system. I think, if they want
to build on top of eclipse, it should work where anywhere eclipse works. I
dont use linux, or mac personally, I have an XP laptop and Vista desktop,
I have downloaded a Linux distro, but haven't gotten around to trying it
out yet.

Also, all those asking if companies are on XP or Vista are forgetting
those of us still on WIN2000. Though I hear a Vista upgrade in the
pipeline.
