it shouldn't cause you any problems if you leave it or delete it. just
install RDi to a different directory(which is the default action anyway).

Re: [WDSCI-L] Uninstall of WDSc

And a last follow up:

There is an SDP70 folder which seems to have configuration information
from WDSc 7.0 in it. Will it come back to haunt me if I leave it
there? Particularly the config.ini file that seems to point to
installed bundles, etc.

Thanks

Pete

[WDSCI-L] Uninstall of WDSc

I am trying to clean up my WDSc and Websphere stuff before re-installing

RDi and RBD. I ran uninstall from the installation manager and cleaned
up about 5-6 GB of space (Add/Remove programs estimated it at 11GB) but
I have a few folders still hanging out under C:\Program Files\IBM that I

can't identify. The biggest is one (1.5 GB) is called Rational and it
has an SDP/6.0/ folder. So the full path is C:\Program
Files\IBM\Rational\SDP\6.0 and it has a bunch of other folders and files

beneath it. Any idea of what this is?

There doesn't appear to be any uninstall programs associated with these
folders and there is nothing in Add/Remove programs that seems related.
Can they be safely deleted? I'd love to clean this up before stirring
the pot with the next round of Rational installs.

Thanks,

Pete
