Regarding the sub-second response time. If you look at the javascript source, you can see what appears to be all of the session info there. It is sub-second response, but I think that's because it is never leaving the browser, just caching it all at startup. Am I missing something?

I missed this at first, Jim.

The basic session data (the name, speaker and time) is currently part of the JS. Since we ZIP the initial JS, Chris decided to include that basic information rather than download it separately. However, there's a lot more that involves round trips to the server.- voting, adding a tag, getting tags, getting comments, all of that - and which is all subsecond.
