that "used* to be the case. i think they've drifted away since the start
of RDi development efforts started. besides DCR is the *official* method
for design request and more eyes will see it than on this list (or any
other forum for that matter)

Thanks,

Thanks Tommy.

Don't we have IBM lurking on this list? But if the DCR is the only
way................

submit a DCR for it...if several of us do maybe they'll look into it...
we'll *really* need it when they start supporting overloaded
procedures...

I attended the TUG TEC Conference recently and got to see a
demonstration
of
the Application Diagram view that I had not seen before. I'm using WDSC
7.0
so I'd heard about it but never seen it.

One thing that I thought of and wonder if we could ever get an
enhancement

to RDI is to have a new RPG syntax code that would be used in the
Application Diagram view when your looking at subroutines or
subprocedures.
I suppose this would also require an enhancement to the RPG Compiler as
well
to allow for a new form of comment line.

So when your looking at the application diagram view instead of just
seeing
the subroutine/subprocedure name you'd also see what RPGDOC you had for
it.

Just a thought............

Andy
