Does anyone know how I can determine what is causing my PC's processor to run at 95%+ at certain times

No idea how to try to scope performance inside WDSC, but I have found that syntax checking SQL can be unpleasantly slow. I think it requires a lot of round trips to the host...

Preferences->Remote Systems->iSeries Parsers->ILE RPG

I have checked 'Automatice syntax checking' and UNchecked 'Automatic syntax checking of SQL statements'

As an aside, putting 'SQL' in the filter at the top did NOT find this setting. I had to go hunting for it. The filter doesn't find text in the body of the preference, only the title (I think).
