you can define a new server in RBD to refer to your existing server: in
the Servers view, right-click and select New;
click Instaled Runtimes; then click Add; new select WAS 6.1, Next; browse
or input sth like
C:\Program Files\IBM\SDP70\runtimes\base_v61 (i.e., the server instance
you are using in WDSC; if it's a standalone
WAS server, find and put it here).

Then WDSC and RBD are using the same server.

Thanks.

Re: [WDSCI-L] Have RBD v7.1 but wheres WAS v6.1

Chenghui Li,

Thanks for the prompt response. I'm modifying RBD now. Will this
create a new WAS v6.1 instance or will it pick up the one already used
with WDSc V7? I have a desktop shortcut to launch WAS prior to starting
WDSc so I can fire off web pages without first having to start WDSc. I
would like the same shortcut to work for both WDSc and RBD. Let's not
forget to mention the ability to administer only one WAS instance, also.

Thanks

Daron
