Actually, IBM has officially told me that there will be an upgrade path and that we'll hear about it with the April launch. Details are not yet cast in stone and it may be a low-cost trade-up rather than free, but I'm confident it will be less than $800. And whatever the cost, it's a one-time deal and then you're on RDi.

Let me be clear: I have been told by Rational there WILL be a trade-up. If you have heard from anyone that there will *not* be an upgrade, then please, share that information with the list. Otherwise it's George Farr and Todd Britton saying there will be an upgrade, and you saying there won't be, and I think I'll put my money on the people who work at IBM.
