I'm not trying to minimize the other issues, but in this particular case, I think you could verify using RDi and then compile once you have no errors. But that could break as well; IBM might require a license for verification. Anyway, we still need to take each situation individually. It's just not that bad if you're in a reasonable situation. Even if you need one license for the compilers for every developer it's not the ned of the world. If you have five RDi/ILE developers on a P10, you're paying $2600 for SWMA rather than $2000. That's a jump, but not a deadly one to me.
