Well, there is the irony. No matter what way I attempt to update WDSC the change control package causes errors. Catch-22: Need to update the software but can't until the software is updated.

Thanks for everyone's input. The change control vendor has been contacted.

Personally, I cannot strongly enough recommend a version control server
even for single person projects. Just remember to have good backups of

Depending on your in-house skill set you may want to set up a Windows
box with the version control server of choice, or install a server
version of Ubuntu 7.10. I could not immediately locate an appropriate
vmware appliacation image.
