Rod

I have similar problems with the SQL precompiler for RPG.
I posted some info in the Wiki but its more a complaint rather than a
solution.
Having said that others have created custom compile commands.

Try WDSC Help,Help Contents search for
SRCMBR select Command strings for predefined compile names to see the
Compile
command defaults.

I am not sure, but I have updated the Wiki (removed the /* */) and in
the Wiki is mentioned SRCPGM( ) thats why I suggest to change PGM
to SRCPGM. Thanks Buck for updating the Wiki. Thanks Nazim and Andrew
for the info.

Rod in your command /* OPTION(*EVENTF) */ is a comment, I believe
you need to modify your command to add this OPTION as aparameter,
and change PGM to SRCMBR.
ICOMPWD SRCMBR(&N) SRCLIB(&L) SRCFILE(&F) OPTION(*EVENTF)

Thank you everyone for your replies. Unfortunately, I still can't get the
errors to display in the Iseries Error List. I have added /*
OPTION(*EVENTF) */ to the end of WDSC compile command. I am using the
compile option *LSTDBG. I am hoping the OPM compiler would allow *EVENTF.
When we invoke our compiler we are actually using a CL program that calls
another CL program. The WDSC command looks like following:
ICOMPWD PGM(&N) SRCLIB(&L) SRCFILE(&F) /* OPTION(*EVENTF) */
