In your WDSC compile command, try adding a comment at the end, like my OPM SQL RPG compile has:

CRTSQLRPG PGM(&O/&N) SRCFILE(&L/&F) SRCMBR(&N) REPLACE(&R) OPTION(*LSTDBG) /* OPTION(*EVENTF) */

Right click the member, Compile, Work with compile commands
