Makes me wonder how well Time Machine would work in a case like this. I use
a similar "appliance" for incremental real-time backup of my PC called Mirra
(http://www.seagate.com/www/en-us/products/external/mirra_personal_server/).
The problem with trying to track versions of a WDSC workspace is that it is
constantly changing files which causes my Mirra client software to be
running WAY to much (I end up shutting it off sometimes because it hogs
CPU).
