Thanks Dave. I checked the archives but could not find anything related but
I will take your advise and create a user action.

Robert,

We discussed this a few weeks ago, if you want to check the archives. The
upshot was that RSE doesn't support copying certain object types between
systems, and *PGM is one of the unsupported types. This is true for V5, V6,
and V7 of WDSCi. Workarounds were discussed, including user actions that
saved the objects to a save file, copying the save file, and restoring the
objects. I don't remember any more details at the moment.

Bill,

He's trying to copy the compiled program object, not the source, so he can't
paste it into a source file.

I think the reason you get the error is because you are pasting it in to
the filter, you would need to paste it into a file (i.e. QRPGLESRC)

I am attempting to copy a *PGM object from one box to another.

On the source box I have an Object filter I use to select the object and
Right Click->Copy

On the destination I have a Library filter set up for the desired library
only. I Right Click on the library (type *LIB) and Paste.

I get an error box -

Invalid drag and drop operation.

The source SourceLib/OBC621 OBJTYPE(*PGM) cannot be transferred into the
target TargetLib.

I am working on WDSC Version 5.1.2 and V5R1 on the source box and V5R2 on
the target box.

Can anyone see what may be the problem?
