You'll need to do a little bit of Java programming to create an LPEX user profile...

PS When in the LPEX command line, you can always use the UP/DOWN arrows to bring up previously-entered commands.

There is a sample command "hairline", which you'll have to register from
the LPEX Editor > User Commands preference page. When turned on, it
displays a thin vertical line at the current cursor column, or it can be
activated to continuously track the cursor.

For additional information, enter
?hairline
on any LPEX command line.
