I finally got an admission from IBM that there is a "defect" in the
conversion routine when an SQL statement is converted to free form and
it is inside of a Do/If statement. The following is the email I got
from Support;
The problem is a defect, I tested with the same results. I checked for
missing PTFs and installed them. I tested again. I got the same resutls
you did. I am going to the developers. I will find out if they can fix
it this release or not.
It will be interesting to see if I get the same response the last time I
reported this, "Problem cannot be replicated in a future release".
