Cool, eh? written in RPG. :)

Another sample to look at is the notebook part (click "settings" when
you get it built.)

Remember, any of these samples can have F-specs that you know & love,
and connect to you System i directly.

As was said, VARPG is going nowhere, but gosh... it does it so nice and
easy on the Windows desktop. Faster, cleaner, simpler, than Java, and
in the language we already know.

ah well... that and $5 will get you coffee at Starbucks

A good sample to try out is in the Samples folder. projects\VARPG
Projects\samples\calendar.odf

Click that, build it, then run it. It'll show you what can be done.
Click the little clipboard icon to see the code, but you don't really
start there.
