Peter,

I've taken off the SBMJOB, but I still get the same 2 lines in the command
view.

SBMJOB CMD(CALL PGM(MY_COMPILER) PARM(MYPGM MYLIB)/* EVENTF SRCMBR(MYSOURCE)
*/) JOBD(*USRPRF) JOBQ(QBATCH1) USER(FOXWELL)
Travail 188195/FOXWELL/QPGMR soumis à la file d'attente QBATCH1 de QGPL.

CALL PGM(CALL PGM(MY_COMPILER) PARM(MYPGM)/* EVENTF SRCMBR(MYSOURCE) */
La commande est terminée

The file EVFEVENT is in the library MYLIB with member MYSOURCE, but no error
list is returned to WDSc.
If I use CRTRPGMOD or CRTSQLRPGI, I get the error list OK.

Thanks.

David,

I think you need to get rid of the SBMJOB.

Since WDSC already runs in batch, there's no added value in submitting it
again.

Just do a call of your compile program with the EVENTF parameter.

Re: [WDSCI-L] Compiling

Well that's a nice titbit if I can make it work.

After running my compile command under WDSc I get this in the commande
history view :

SBMJOB CMD(CALL PGM(MyCompiler) PARM(MyProgram)/* EVENTF SRCMBR(MySource)
*/) JOB(MyJob)

I now have a file MyLib/EVFEVENT. with a member MySource full of messages.

How do I get these messages into WDSc ?

TIA.
