Hi, Aaron:

If you get a new Mac based on Intel processor, you can get VMWare Fusion and run Windows XP in a virtual machine under Mac OS. You can even download a free evaluation copy. Here's a link: http://www.vmware.com/products/fusion/

Cheers,

Mark

Eric, can you comment on how many hooks to Windows are still in the WDSC?
And also, are there any plans to remove them? (explicity through intention
or implicity through using a new Java package or something)

I plan on switching over to a Mac Powerbook next year and while I could run
WDSC on the Windows XP parallel I would much rather have it run natively on
Linux (hoping Linux=OS X, but it probably doesn't entirely).

Sorry, Linux is not an option for WDSC. The reference to Linux is just a
carry over from the RAD docs. I'll update the readme files on the site.

Thanks,
Eric

Thank you for letting us know.

I read in the README that apparently Linux is an option for running
WSDCi, which isn't listed on
http://www-306.ibm.com/software/awdtools/wdt400/sysreq/.

This is most likely a typing error in migrating the Rational product
upgrade document, but _IF_ it is possible - e.g. by installing into an
existing eclipse tree and move the result to Linux (taking care of the
native bits in the process) I'd like to know.

Any comments from anybody?
