Davif,

I am not sure what that instruction is - it does not match the instructions
I received in English.

Not wanting to be ARCAD support, however, this may help - here are my
instructions.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
FIRST USE
1. Open the Resource System Explorer perspective ³Window>Open
Perspective>Other² and choose Remote Systems Explorer.
2. Create a simple project: Choose ³File>New>Project² then expand Simple and
choose Project.
3. Enter a description like My 5250 sessions and click finish.
4. Now select ³File>New>Other² and expand the ARCAD node to see 5250
Emulation Session.
5. When prompted for a container, click browse and choose the project you
created in step 2.
6. The wizard will walk you through the rest of the installation, asking you
questions like what host name or IP address to use, what preferences you¹d
like, and so on. When you click finish, the emulator session will appear.
Trevof, I've done just that;
the last instruction was :
6. Suivez les instructions de l'assistant : spécifiez le Serveur iSeries, la
taille de l’écran, le code page ; vous pourrez par la suite modifier
les autres valeurs par défaut
Specify the server name, screen size, code page. I just entered the name of
the server and that was it. Isn't there something to do to open the
emulator?
David,
Follow the instructions.......
You would have received an email telling you how to download, install and
use the emulator. Look for the section in that email titled: FIRST USE -
and
follow the steps on how to use the emulator for the first time.
Hey ,
I've just installed this. I've followed the instructions and I'm in the
Resource perspective, having created a project. In the project container
called MySessions5250 I have 2 xml files .project and Session1.
Ok so what now?
Dennis,
Use the WDSc plugin emulator from Arcad. You can download it (for free)
from
here: http://www.arcadsoftware.com/content/view/201/316/
No more biting.
