Re: (no subject) Problem with Preferences

When you go to browse the net, do you have to supply a username and
password like we do here? Whenever I have to get a net connection, I have
to authenticate to the server to get out to the web. If I don't do that
first, the wdsc upgrader can't connect, and it does not try to
authenticate for you.

I am having problems with certain preferences not being saved once I get
them selected. More specifically, the font colors of the member tabs.

I am going to the Windows menu and selecting Preferences. I expand the
General and appearance items and select Colors and Fonts. I am trying to
change and save the color Active (non-focus) part foreground as well as
the Active part foreground items. The preview will show these item as I
have selected. However, these changes do not alway come across to the
editor. If they do, they do not always stay set for the next time I launch
WDSc. I am able to change and save the font.

I tried to Find and Install software updates. I received the following
error message. "Network connection problems encountered during search. "

The following set of messages were in the detail portion of the pop-up
screen repeated 8 times:

"http://download.eclipse.org/technology/emft/updates/"; [Server
