Shannon,

Check the System i Portal: http://systemiportal.com/
Search for encryption, and asymmetric key encryption.

Also check the Linoma Software website. They have some recorded webinars
that discuss encryption, and Linoma offers a product to send/receive
encrypted data. (we are a customer.)

[WDSCI-L] Web Services Security

Hello List,

Could I please get some commentary on Web Services and secure data
transmission? I have some very sensitive data that will need to go across
a
web service and I need to reassure my clients that the data that arrives
at
"B" is the same data that started at "A".

I found this website on IBM:
http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/library/specification/ws-secure/ and
all
signs look good (although I have a lot of reading to do now).

But, it would be great if I could get some real-world experiences on this.
Or even non-experience opinions are also welcome. It's better to have too
much information, in my opinion, than not enough.

Thanks,

Shannon O'Donnell
