I'm sure this issue has been discussed but now I need to find it in the
archives its like searching for a needle in a haystack. Any advice on using the
archives would also be appreciated.

I have always opened my PC files by right clicking then selecting open with
system editor. Others in my team wanted to be able to double click so I worked
out how to do that from the preferences.

File opened with a double click :
Now, when I modify a file and save it and that file is on one of our windows
servers, if someone else opens the file he will not see the modifications. If I
close and reopen it, I see them however. I must be looking at some other
version somewhere.

File opened with the editor system :
This problem does not occur.

If the file is in the i5 IFS, I have no problem.

I hope that is clear and someone can help. There is no way of knowing if
something has already been lost.

TIA
