I surely don't know how you are getting useful errors to double-click on when
compiling real SQLRPGLE objects from WDSC. Which command are you using?
CRTRPGMOD, CRTBNDRPG, or CRTSQLRPGI? If you have solved this, boy, you have to
tell us how you are set up = even IBM does not know about this!!

Hi Bill,

I'm not sure if I totally understand.

If I double-click an RPG error, it opens up the RPGLE member that was
generated from the precompiler. I would determine what caused the problem
and then fix it in the SQLRPGLE member.

Hope this helps.

This is a just curious Question. In V6 we have had the issue of the SQL
Compile problem. If the precompiler catches an error the listing works
great and you can click on the error and go right to the source line and
the error is checked as being handled. If the precompiler passes and an
RPG error is detected then the problems arise. I have taken the
approach of going back to the GS mode after precompile issues are dealt
with and opening the source in browse mode and using the F *ERR and then
going back to RSE and correct the source line. Since I have dual
monitors this is not as cumbersome as it sounds. GS mode on the right
and RSE on the left. Now the question, does V7 address this?

Thanks
