I was under the impression that V7 addressed the bug of an embedded SQL
statement with IF/ENDIF. V7 doesn't convert fixed to free any different
than V6. I got one of those emails from IBM when I submitted the bug
report telling me that the results could not be duplicated in a future
release. Is V7 not a future compare to V6? Or is it one of those IBM
"features"?

Tried to do an update, it came back with 3 updates available. The first
and the third said I didn't have the feature installed and the middle
one went through the process and then said this module is considered
non-updateable. Plus the fact that I kept getting asked what download
site I wanted to go to. I really don't care what download site is used.
I don't need updates for features I don't have loaded or for modules
that can't be updated.

What is the advantage of V7 over V6 other than it does load fast?

Thanks
