Too much junk from Dreamweaver?? I've used Dreamweaver and unlike
frontpage, or any other MS product, it didn't put anything on my page
that I didn't put there myself (which doesn't eliminate 'garbage', but
at least its 'my' garbage).

Maybe it's just me, but every time I tried to do something in Dreamweaver, I
got a bunch of proprietary JavaScript using MM_ functions. Thus, once I
created the page I was pretty much locked into DreamWeaver forever.

I wasn't aware that WDSC had an HTML editor with a web perspective.
I'll give it a try, thanks.

WDSC's HTML page editor has a WYSIWYG view with a full-featured palette, as
well as a source view and a preview view. There is also a powerful site
editor and a template feature that allows you to create your own templates
and assign them to multiple pages or even your whole site. Changes to
templates are automatically applied to appropriate pages.

WDSC also comes with an integrated JavaScript debugger. And once you need
dynamic content, you can move on to JavaServer Pages; WDSC has a fully
featured JSP editor as well.
