I can testify to the install part-- our server is at 6.0
(Express) and, figuring we'll probably take a look at 6.1,
I've installed it without a problem. Haven't actually done
a "Run on server" but would expect it to be okay... maybe
someone else will chime in.

Subject: [WDSCI-L] WAS Server 6.1 on WDSCi 6.0
Date: Tue, 5 Jun 2007 06:05:18 -0700

Hey All,

Anyone know if you can install and run a test server
version 6.1 on WDSCi 6.0. My company wants to continue to
use 6.0 WDSCi because we still support running our products
on 5.0 WAS (go figure) and WDSCi 7.0 doesn't go back to
that version. We don't want to end up using both tools if
possible, anyone have any suggestions on how to get around
this challenge.
