I've run into this bug also. It doesn't seem to affect anything but is
annoying. It only happens with the new exec sql within free form. (no
end-sql). I appled the original PTFs to be able to use this in V5R3, but they
were superceded. I don't see how these PTFs would affect the verify or syntax
checker. My programs compile and run successfully.

Have a wonderful day! God Bless! Rick

thanks,

This is odd:

I start WDSCi 7. Open a SQLRPGLE member. Execute Verify and get a
communication error: RNF0401 An error occurred during communication with

host.

I then close the SQLRPGLE member and open an RPGLE member. Execute
Verify
with no communication error.

I then close the RPGLE member and re-open my SQLRPGLE member again.
Execute Verify with no comm error.

Any ideas? Thanks.
