However, the verify fails (level 20 errors) because it's trying
CRTRPGMOD
instead of CRTBNDRPG. I found where the preferences are, greyed out. I
got
it 'ungreyed' and changed to CRTBNDRPG. But the verify still fails with
the
level 20 errors.

Yep, I've got that problem also. Where did you find those preferences?
I'd like to tinker with them.

I'll stick to compiling for now.

When I compile from WDSCi 7 the errors don't show in the iSeries Error
List view. Do I have something set wrong?

Subject: Re: [WDSCI-L] Verify is crazy fast!

In the past I NEVER used the Source->Verify because I had the
idea it was incredibly slow. I think I tried it when it
first became a feature and compiles were reasonably close in
execution time - well not anymore! Now when I do a Verify
(Ctrl+Shift+V) it executes in less than 2 seconds (that
includes the time to display the iSeries Error List view)!
That's right, 2 seconds vs. 15+ for a compile!

I mostly wanted to intrigue people to try it again if you,
like me, put it on the "feature not really that great" shelf.

Kudos to the WDSC dev team! This is another huge programmer
time saver that can be added as a big plus for WDSC vs. PDM/SEU.

Verifies were always slow for me, so I tried it again on a moderately
sized
RPG4 program. Compile takes about 5-6 seconds, verify about 4-5 seconds,
not much of a difference.

However, the verify fails (level 20 errors) because it's trying CRTRPGMOD
instead of CRTBNDRPG. I found where the preferences are, greyed out. I
got
it 'ungreyed' and changed to CRTBNDRPG. But the verify still fails with
the
level 20 errors.

I'll stick to compiling for now.
