Right-click over a *pgm object (in RSE), Arcad command, Parameters, Auto
Connection, Create. It will then give you instructions on how to enter your
userid and password, and how to stop the macro.
Apparently, you don't need to create the Auto Connection macro though - if
you click ok on the message, it just brings you to a signon screen.

Ok. I changed the name of our connection. The host name was already the raw
IP address. I exited WDSC and reopened. Now I get the message:

"Create an auto connection macro with the help of the Auto Connection
option.
Reason: No auto connection macro"

Where is this option?
Thanks,
Debbie

Are you guys by any chance using an alias specified in your hosts file?
If so, try using an RSE connection that uses the raw IP address of the
box....that did the trick for me...

Hi,

I'm having exactly the same problem. I've tried telnet from a dos
command window and it works fine. Anyone got any ideas?
