Peter, pls make sure you use the IBM Install Manager (IM) to apply update.
You cann't update WDSC the old way (which is to use Help->Software
Updates->Find and Install...).

If you encounter any error when updating WDSC V7 using IBM Install
Manager, most probably it's a network replated problem. In such a case,
it's better to download the WDSC V7.0.0.1 update ZIP file, and then apply
it locally (by adding the unzipped folder as a Repository into IM). This
is even easier if you have multiple machines to update (you just need to
download once).

If you need to add an Eclipse project into WDSC V7, there's a way to
"extend" WDSC V7. Let me know if this is the case and I'll let you know
how to do it.

Thanks.

[WDSCI-L] UPDATE ERROR: You cannot install in the site "file:/C:/Program
Files/IBM/SDP70Shared/".

Hi list.

I am on V7.0.0
Build Id. 20070202_0030

I am having this message everytime I try to update. I am not changing
anything, just clicking on NEXT. WebSphere is trying to apply ECLIPSE
3.2.2 patches (RCP Patch 1 and 2).

What is going on?

TIA,
