The wife wants to work from home. So I installed R7 on her desktop, and RSE
editing works fine, however when trying to establish a debug session using
SEP, nothing happened and the job completed without ever coming up in the
debugger. I later checked some of the debug preferences and made some
changes there (such as perspective to use, hover, center line etc.).
So I verified the connection and under Checking Host Callback it is failing
the error "callback to <I/P address> on port 4300 failed". That is followed
by another message "callback to <pc name> on port 4300 failed".
4300 is enabled in the wdsci preferences, and she added and entry to the
windows firewall.
Our broadband connection at home runs through a linksys wired router.
What am I missing?
