wdsc7 and local partitions -- WDSCI-L

All,
I try to install wdsc7 on machine with two partitions one for system C and one for applications D.
I get the error Error 1324 the path items to CD contains an invalid character.
Has anyone done that before or wdsc7 does not work with local partitions ?
Any ideas are welcome,
