From what I understand, the RSE Extensions are still being tested by the
folks at Softlanding before an official release is made which supports
WDSC V.7. That said, you can get around this if you are willing to tinker
a bit.
I posted a method about two weeks ago for copying the extensions from v6,
and later realized they weren't working properly for me after that
process. It does seem to work for at least one person however. I ended
up downloading the RSE Extensions source from their Subversion server
(it's pretty easy if you install Subclipse). I then made that source into
a Plugin Development Project, built it, and copied the files to a
directory in my WDSC base directory. Then, I added that directory as an
extension location using Manage Configuration. Now everything seems to be
working except for retrieving spooled files, as well as a bug with the
Compare/Merge where a member remains locked if the compare members are
opened for edit but there is no difference between the files. I don't
_think_ the bug is specific to my method of installation though.
