Greg,

I only know the V6 version, but who knows, maybe it's the same in V7 (I'm
still eagerly awaiting news from our systems guy)

You need to unzip the downloaded binaries in a directory, and create a new
"local site" in software updates / find and install, pointing to that
directory.

Then it will allow you to enter an install location.

Re: [WDSCI-L] Wdsc 7.0 and Quantum DB

"Prompted for an install location" ?

I am missing something.
I downloaded the 3.0.5. zip file from quantum, and all it had in it was
a features folder and a plugins folder. No installation executables or
anything. In the past, all I've ever done is put these features and
plugins in the appropriate folders under rse/eclipse/plugins and they
worked.

What did I miss ?

thanks
