I've created my event file with OPTION(*EVENTF) on the CRTRPGMOD command. It
isn't available on the CRTPGM command

did you include the OPTION(*EVENTF) to your create program?

Then normally it should work (at least for me it does)

I'm beginning to feel out of my depth here.
Been to your page Violaine, added your user action Peter.

When I select compile, I click on my own program that runs on the i5. I
now
have modified that program so that it creates the file EVFEVENT in the
same
library as the compiled object. I have added /* *EVENTF SRCMBR(&N) */  to
my
RSE compile command. Nothing happens.
