user actions in WDSC are kind of PDM "User-defined options" on steroids.

You use replacement characters (&n for name, &l for library, etc).

The steriods bit is that you can refine which user actions are available 
for which type of object / member.

So that you don't issue a "Create display file in my special way" for an 
RPGLE member.

If you right-click on any object or source member, and choose User Actions 
/ Work with User Actions, you can get help on all options.

The only thing I miss is an Import/Export function (Violaine, I bet this 
is already on your list?)

I'm still quite new to WDSc and I'm afraid I don't understand the user
action bit.

Having said that, I have just realised that I CAN get the messages from
CRTRPGMOD etc.

This is because on the properties of the connection, I have all the
libraries necessary for compiling already on line.
