What is the proper procedure to bind this program in WDSC/RSE assuming
all required modules and service programs are built?
</snip>

Thanks for much to Mark for referring to my make tool on Think400. One
thing that I really like about using my make tool is that it works in
Green or WDSC with ease. I can compile in WDSC and then compile in PDM
and the same commands are executed.

What is the proper procedure to bind this program in WDSC/RSE and have
the required modules and service programs rebuilt before the bind?
</snip>

I recently updated the tool with a new command called CHKOBJECT.
CHKOBJECT deals with exactly this problem. You put CHKOBJECT commands
into the header and it checks to see if the source for a lower level
module has been changed since the last compile. If yes, it recompiles
the lower level object before it recreates the top level object so if
you want you can just recompile the top level and it will get all the
lower levels. Full details are in the readme.

Vernon suggested Turnover or Implementor or ADM.

I agree that if you have Turnover, it is a great product and does things
that my tool cannot do like updating databases. It's integration with
WDSC is wonderful. Of course, instead of using the free tool, all you
need is the 10 or 20 grand for Turnover or is it 100 grand? I think ADM
is 100 grand.

I used Implementor and it sucked big time (Try a whole day to get a
couple of programs installed and then having to do it again) and it's
support for this kind of thing was terrible.
