Thanks for the replies Adrian and Jeff.
Now that I know that the mouse does this, I can do much more with the mouse
: Select the ligne, complete the block, move it, etc.

As for point N° 4 on the list below, I've discovered Alt page up takes me
back to where I started the block.



A (slight) drag of the mouse will extend the selection. I have Control Panel
Mouse > Pointer Options > "Enhance pointer precision" checked, and this
doesn't happen to me (or at least this particular setting appears to be the
right choice on my system).

This problem drives me nuts :
1. Select my lines in LPEX editor for copy/ move with ALT + L.
2. Scroll or page down to the position to insert the lines.

  3. Mouse click sometimes selects all the lines between the lines
highlighted for copy and the destination line.
4. Start again and try not to click on anything with the mouse.
