I think I know why the "lite" gives problems: it doesn't include GEF,
which is needed by Quantum since 3.0.1.

And I have to agree on the "lite" being almost as "heavy" as the
full-blown WDSC.

Re: [WDSCI-L] QuantumDB - which version?

I've been getting the "unable to create part" for the bookmarks view
since Quantum v 3.0.1 in WDSC "lite", but have never had trouble in the
full version. Quantum still works in "lite", but I just can't see the
database schemas.

I have both full and lite versions at Quantum 3.0.3. WDSc version 6.0.1.

Because of this and the fact that lite won't do xml, I normally use the
full version. Besides, "Lite" doesn't really seem to be much "Liter"
than the full version as far as I can tell.
