Hi Mark,

I use RPG so it might be different but...

Our source files are 100 bytes long and if I type past 100, I get a
message at the bottom of WDSC that says "One or more lines exceed the text
limit. Truncation will occur when the file is saved.".

On our free-format lines, our calculations only go up to column 80. My
text does not change colour at all if I type past 80. So it will be
helpful to hear from the experts on this list how you can change the
colour, if it is possible.

Hi,

I'm editing the source of an ILE Cobol in the LPEX editor and I've been
trying to find a way of changing the line overflow colour. Currently it
is light green, which is very easy to miss. I want to change it to red
as coding over character 72 gives compile errors.

Does anyone know which preference I need to change?

Best regards,

Mark
