Mark,

If you go back through the archives you will see where a number of
people have asked about this and you are not doing anything wrong. I
have never been able to figure out why they disappear and why sometimes
they don't! Just like Michael said, you can use the "Monitors" tab to
view your variables and the contents. One thing I found out a couple of
weeks ago is that if you double-click a variable and do a copy, then
right click in the "Monitors" pane and select "Monitor Expression" the
window will come up with the variable already inserted and all you have
to do is click "OK".

Mark,

You'll find these in the Monitors tab. IIRC, there's a message in the
variables tab saying something like 'FOR RPG, COBOL, OR CL USE THE
"MONITORS" VIEW.' I think it's about 4 tabs to the right of the
VARIABLES tab.

Hi,

I'm debugging a Cobol program in WDSc but it is not showing me any
program variables in the variables view. What am I doing wrong?

Best regards,

Mark Austin
