Make Sure your Hard Drive is at least 7200 RPM and I like at least 2 GB
of memory and as hot of a processor as you can afford.

I feel the speed of the disk drive is the number one thing to consider.

Subject: [WDSCI-L] Thinkpad recommendations for WDSCi use

I'm not sure if this is the correct list to post to, but I know a lot
of
WDSCi users monitor this list.

The wife wants to get a new Thinkpad. It should be light and travel
ready... but beefy enough to do WDSC (not the Lite version).

Any suggested models? I know 2gb of ram & 7200 rpm drive are the
basics,
but regarding portability and travel ready, any preferences?

Regards, Jerry
