I get those nearly every time I try to get updates using the Rational
Product Updater, but I stumbled across a workaround. I don't know why
it works, but perhaps it will work for you, too.

When I get the message, I copy the entire URL which RPU says is invalid,
paste it into Internet Explorer, and hit enter. It takes me to the
site, which really isn't anything to see, as it is not a webpage. Just
a little bit of raw html.

But then, having done that, when I go back to Rational Product Updater,
I can try to update again, and it works. I don't know why.
