Ran the version 6 install on 11 different machines when we first got the
product. Did not get any errors but agree it takes forever. First time
installed was on mine and used product updater. Big mistake took way to
long. Burn update 6.0 to 6.0.1 to a DVD and to network, so I could take
the DVD to their desk and run it. Still took a good amount of time but
not near as long. Ran the install in stages as the programmer had time,
Load 6.0 and Product Updater, Next time run update 6.0 to 6.0.1, last run
the latest update patch 6.0.1.1. Have not tried the local mirror yet.

   Thanks,
   Jeff

I just finished installing V6 on a new PC at work, I've only installed
this version from the DVD, but have never had any problems. This is my
4th
install of it, (previous work PC, home PC and laptop) it does taka a
long
time, but no errors, As suggested in other posts, I let the updates run
overnight. We do have the "updater" update loaded locally on a network
drive. With only 5-6 people here to use it and PC's not updated that
often
We probably won't make a local mirror of the main upgrade set. Now I
need
to show the Guys who build PC's how to do this for the other 3 in my
group
who are getting updated PC's finally.
