I answered my own question.  I renamed the folder C:\Windows\RAT60.

Hi All

 

I was trying to install WDSC by connecting to a remote DVD drive.  Due
to a network issue, the installation was interrupted.

 

Now when I try to install it again, I get the following message:

 

"Before installing this product, you must run the Rational Product
Updater tool and update these products to a compatible version level.  

The following products must be updated to the required version level
shown:

Rational Product Updater 6.0.0.4"

 

The product doesn't show on the Add/Remove Programs.  I have deleted the
Program Files/Rational folder and tried to remove every registry entry
that relates to it but still no luck.

 

Does anyone know what else I could do to get past this error message?

 

BTW:  My PC has just been rebuilt by our IT Department, and I really do
not want to have to go through that experience again.
