WDSC would have to be on the remote client. When you use Remote
Desktop, you're taking over that remote PC. But, you're probably
accessing the remote network on a VPN, right? You should be able to
access the iSeries directly from your PC using WDSC - no remote
desktop needed.

I use remote desktop from one building to another.
My usual machine has WDSC on it.
From the other building, one half day a week, I use remote desktop to
work with the applications on my usual PC.
There is no problem for me using WDSC this way.

The only difficulty I have had is printing. Since I start at my usual
desk in the morning, the printer may be assigned already.
I have to remember to pick the printer again at the other building
instead of just hitting a print button.

Does anyone know if it is possible to connect WDSC to an AS400 that I
have
connected to with Remote Desktop ?
Thanks
Tom
