subject: Re: [WDSCI-L] Compiling With Overrides

Not sure if I understand this.
We use our own compile pgms that are called by SBMJOB systematically.
In RSE I've simply added the SBMJOB to my list of compile options.
I just tried it without the SMBJOB and called the program interactively.
The
compile works OK.

We once had many different CLs that called the compiles with the
overrides and what happened is a program would add a print file or a DB
that needed the override and then the CL would have to be changed. Or a
program would be changed to SQLRPGLE and then the CL didn't work
anymore. I just created a universal compile screen along with a DB of
the required overrides and even if the program you think needs overrides
but doesn't will compile. Now I just have to do the command thing and
get that portion into RSE. Thanks for all the help.
