Another option is to use LPEX's own block operations. For example Alt+L to select line(s), Alt+R to select a rectangle, etc., and then in the target window: Alt+C to copy the selection, Alt+M to move it, etc.

Copy/paste is good but e.g., doesn't do rectangles.
