There have been a couple of issues with this in the past.  Check the
archives for more information.  The only one I can remember is to close
your source member before exiting WDSC.  If the workbench reopens to
it's previous state and the source member was open when WDSC closed the
hover won't work.

There is still the global variable limitation.  It you are in a
subprocedure only variables defined to that subprocedure will display
using hover.  It has something to do with the call stack I think.  The
subprocedure is a new entry and variables from other entries are not
available.

As Peter mentioned, if your variable is long it will probably display
blank.  Don't know why it doesn't display the leftmost positions.  I
think this is on the enhancement list though.
