You can do even better than that if you want to.  Click on the tab for
source that is being edited.  Drag to the side, top or bottom of the
editor view, until your cursor changes to an arrow and there is a grey box
which only covers part of the editor area.  Now you will have source
members side by side!  You can also have two view of the same source
member, but hitting Ctrl+2 (or right-click some source->View->Open new
view) if you have WDSC version 6.

But tell me this, can I get a shared full-screen view of 2 side-by-side open 
sources? i.e. when you double-click on a source window tab it will change to 
full-screen and then back again. Can I get the same effect where the 2 
sources together are full-screen each sharing half?
